No pretense, no stiff dining room, no apologies. Just real Italian food made the way it should be — with fire, patience, and a little bit of attitude.
Why Angry Italian
Three things separate us from the rest — and we're not shy about them.
Every pasta shape, every sauce, every dough ball — it all starts in our kitchen. We don't outsource flavor. If it touches your plate, we made it here.
San Marzano tomatoes. Imported Italian olive oil. Fresh herbs from local growers. We skip the shortcuts so you taste the difference on every bite.
Come as you are. We're Yuma — we keep it warm, loud, and welcoming. Good food tastes better when you're not worrying about manners.
Our Story
Angry Italian wasn't born from a restaurant degree. It was born from years of Sunday dinners, arguments over whose nonna made the better ragù, and a stubborn refusal to accept that Yuma didn't deserve real Italian food.
We opened our doors at 2680 S 4th Ave with a simple belief: people should be able to walk in, sit down, and taste something that feels like it was made for them — not assembled from a catalog.
Everything we serve follows that same rule. If it wouldn't make sense to put on our own table, it doesn't go on yours.
"We're angry about bad food. That's the whole recipe."
What People Say
Real words from real customers who keep coming back.
"I've eaten Italian all over the Southwest and this is the real deal. The pasta is handmade and you can taste it. We drove 40 minutes just to come back the next weekend."
"Finally, a place in Yuma that doesn't treat you like you're bothering them by wanting good food. Warm, loud, delicious. That's the Angry Italian experience."
"The risotto changed my life and I'm not being dramatic. I told my family we're moving here just for this restaurant. They laughed. Then they tried it."
Walk in, call ahead, or save a seat for later. We'll have something ready for you.
